Questions people ask
On which date is age counted for govt exams?
Each notice gives a cut-off date (for example 1 August 2026); completed years on that date count. Pick the exam above and its date is filled in.
What does an age limit of 21–32 mean?
Most notices state it as a date-of-birth range — UPSC CSE 2026: born between 2 August 1994 and 1 August 2005. So you must not have completed 32 on the cut-off date.
How much age relaxation do OBC and SC/ST get?
For most central recruitments, 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST. States differ — each exam’s relaxation is shown above from its notice.
Does this calculator store my date of birth?
No. It is worked out in your browser; nothing is sent to a server.
