Qualification: Engineers: 4-year full-time B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Chemical. Junior Executives: 3-year full-time diploma in the discipline (or B.Sc. Chemistry, BBA/BMS-HR, any graduation, or science graduate with Fire & Safety diploma, by post). Officers: CA/CMA or MBA Finance with graduation, PG in HR, or B.E. CSE/MCA for IS. Minimum 65% aggregate for UR/OBC/EWS and 55% for SC/ST/PwBD (page 24). Fee: UR, OBC (NCL) and EWS: ₹1180 (₹1000 + 18% GST) plus payment gateway charges, non-refundable. SC, ST and PwBD exempted. HPCL Syllabus 2026 and Exam Pattern

Computer Based Test: 170 MCQs in 150 minutes (PwBD 50 minutes extra): 85 General Aptitude (English, quantitative aptitude, reasoning and data interpretation) and 85 Technical/Professional Knowledge, 1 mark each, minus 0.25 for a wrong answer. To qualify: 60% overall (UR/EWS) or 54% (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD), and 50% in the technical part for all (page 3). PDF p.2
