How to do SSC OTR (One Time Registration)

1. Keep ready: mobile number and email ID (both verified by OTP), Aadhaar number (or Voter ID, PAN, passport, driving licence, school/college or employer ID), your 10th board, roll number and year of passing, and disability certificate number if applicable.
2. Click 'Login or Register' on https://ssc.gov.in to start One-Time Registration (OTR); an OTR made on the old ssc.nic.in site does not work on the new site.
3. Choose Aadhaar-based authentication (recommended) or upload proofs of name, date of birth, address and gender plus a photograph.
4. Fill Personal Details exactly as in your 10th certificate (name, date of birth, father's and mother's name), entering key fields twice for verification.
5. Create a password, fill Additional Details and accept the Declaration to complete OTR; the same OTR is then used for all SSC exams on the new site.
